Snake River Overlook

This past weekend I got to go up to Jackson with my family. My wonderful wife is in Washington DC for her brother's graduation for a couple of weeks and I was unable to go because my assistant manager at my store just quit and I didn't have anyone to leave in charge. So I decided to take advantage of the time and go up for the weekend.
There were 2 main objectives of this trip: Go kayaking with Devon, and get a good Snake River Overlook shot.
Ansel Adams, when commissioned by the government to get National Parks pictures took perhaps his most famous picture at this location. And lets be honest, tons of my photos are inspired by Ansel. I've shot there numerous times before and I have a couple good ones(this one is an oldie),

however, I don't feel like I've ever gotten a great image. So I got up at 4 every morning and went back in the evenings to hopefully get a good one. Here's what I came up with as well as some others along the way.

The sunset or sunrise pictures have awesome colors. The one with the sun decending over the Tetons is great too.
