Zion National Park in March

This past weekend I went to Zion National Park with my friend Wray. We went down there Friday night and camped, which was WAY colder than we expected. Even with a 10 degree sleeping bag I was cold, but it was fun. On Saturday we did a couple hikes, searching for slot canyons and things, and then later hiked the Narrows, which were also pretty cold and much deeper than during the Summer months. We got about a half mile up before our feet and legs almost froze off, seriously, it was freezing but a lot of fun and in addition to that we looked really hard core which is always a plus.
On Sunday we planned to hike the Subway, but after hiking the mile down to the start of the actual trail we saw that the river was really high and there was a lot of snow so in an attempt to not die we opted out of the hike. I guess we'll just have to go down again this summer when there is less water and warmer temperatures. So we just hung out the rest of the day in search of a cool shot.
But overall it was a great trip, now I'm wasted.
